This year’s Ramadan was made meaningful for Westarians as the Group Managing Director (GMD), Tan Sri Dr. Syed Azman Syed Ibrahim (TSSA), visited several bases to share the spirit of togetherness and reflection.
Kuching (KCH) Base – For the first time, TSSA joined the team at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Kuching, accompanied by Heads of Departments from HQ. The evening featured a Tazkirah by Ustaz Wadi Annuar, inspiring unity and spiritual renewal in his Tazkirah.
Kota Bharu Base – At The Grand River View Hotel, TSSA and the HQ delegation attended a Majlis Berbuka Puasa. Ustaz Azhar Idrus delivered a Tazkirah on patience, gratitude, and harmony during Ramadan.
Butterworth Base – TSSA joined by Dato’ Ustaz Shamsuri Haji Ahmad, spent time with the Butterworth team in a gathering that strengthened faith, commitment, and leadership connection.
Kerteh Base – Represented by Syed Muhammad Ammar, the team gathered at Awana Kijal Golf Beach & Spa Resort for Iftar. A sharing session by Ustaz Azhar Idrus deepened the spirit of faith and camaraderie among colleagues.
These gatherings across bases and headquarters not only celebrated Ramadan but also highlighted the values that unite Westarians—teamwork, faith, and shared purpose. They served as powerful reminders of the importance of connection, gratitude, and community, both in work and in life.
