Weststar Aviation Indonesia Strengthens Safety with HUMS Training at Balikpapan Base

Weststar Aviation Indonesia’s Balikpapan Base recently marked a significant milestone by successfully completing a specialized training session on the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS). This cutting-edge system is integral to modern helicopter operations, as it continuously records and monitors the condition of critical systems and components, thereby enhancing aircraft safety and maintenance efficiency.

The training was conducted under the expert guidance of Mr. Muhammad Izzuddin bin Noor Rahimi from Weststar Aviation Services Malaysia, whose in-depth knowledge and practical experience greatly enriched the session. His role as an instructor ensured that participants gained a thorough understanding of HUMS technology, empowering them to effectively utilize its capabilities in day-to-day operations. By equipping its teams with the latest skills and knowledge, Weststar maintains its high standards of mission readiness and operational safety.

Furthermore, this training fosters stronger collaboration and knowledge exchange between Weststar bases in Malaysia and Indonesia, reinforcing the group’s unified approach to aviation safety and innovation.

The successful completion of the HUMS training in Balikpapan stands as a testament to Weststar Aviation’s dedication to advancing aviation technology and maintaining the highest levels of service quality for its clients and partners.
