Azizie began his career with us in March 2011, starting as a baggage handler at Weststar Aviation Services’ Kota Bharu Base (KBR). His journey is a testament to the possibilities that unfold when dedication meets opportunity. Through hard work and exemplary performance, Azizie swiftly progressed through the ranks. By 2013, he had already risen to the role of Assistant Flight Operation Officer, a testament to his dedication and Weststar’s commitment to recognizing talent.
Continuing to demonstrate his leadership and operational prowess, Azizie was promoted to Flight Operation Officer in 2015. This achievement not only underscored his capabilities but also highlighted Weststar’s investment in nurturing internal talent and promoting from within.
Azizie’s career trajectory at Weststar has been nothing short of remarkable. He has had the opportunity to work across various bases globally, including assignments in Saudi Arabia and Namibia. Reflecting on his journey, Azizie shares, “If you had asked me 15 years ago if I ever saw myself in Saudi Arabia and Namibia, I would have said I didn’t even think about being there. Thanks to Weststar, I managed to stay there for a good time. I’m grateful for the opportunity and the belief that has been given to me.”
