Weststar Aviation Services proudly shares the career journey of Captain Shahrial Aizat Bin Jaferi, an AW189 Captain whose path in aviation shows dedication, resilience, and continuous growth.
Captain Aizat joined Weststar on 12 June 2015, starting as a Cadet Pilot in Florida. He later became a Line Pilot at Kerteh Base before taking on overseas assignments. His work included flying VIP missions in Saudi Arabia and contributing to the setup of Khafji operations, showing his adaptability in both regional and international aviation.
In 2020, he led ferry flights from Switzerland to Saudi Arabia, a mission that required technical skill and global operational experience. In June 2025, he reached another milestone by serving as an AW189 Captain, continuing to be an example for colleagues and aspiring aviators. Among his many achievements, he recalls the 2020 ferry flights across Europe as one of his most memorable experiences, a true test of skill and professionalism.
Outside of aviation, Captain Aizat maintains an active lifestyle, with interests in basketball, football, running, cycling, and surfing, balancing his professional career with personal well-being.
