Weststar Aviation Services was deeply honoured to carry out the final journey of the late Padre Domingus Maubere, a revered priest and one of Timor-Leste’s most respected figures in the nation’s struggle for independence.
In a solemn tribute, his remains were flown aboard a Weststar AW189 helicopter from his hometown in Letefoho, Ermera, to Ailoklaran, Dili, where he was laid to rest with full honours. The ceremony was attended by national leaders, local communities, and citizens who gathered to pay their respects to his enduring legacy and contributions to the country.
Padre Domingus Maubere is remembered not only for his religious service but also for his unwavering dedication to the people of Timor-Leste, especially during the nation’s fight for sovereignty. His life’s work stands as a testament to courage, faith, and selflessness.
