Weststar Aviation Services’ Kerteh Base proudly participated in the “Kertih Airport Run on Runway 2025” last Saturday — a landmark event as it marked the first time in history that Kertih Airport organised a running event directly on its runway.
Our Westarians, led by Captain Rohaizad Hussain, Base Ground Operations Manager, ran a 5 km run for this one-of-a-kind experience. Running on an airport runway offered participants a rare opportunity and created an unforgettable memory for everyone involved.
In addition to the run, Weststar Aviation Services also set up an exhibition booth at the event. The booth became a space for engaging with the local community, offering insights into our aviation services.The event was not only about fitness and fun, but also about building stronger ties with the community. Through both participation in the run and our exhibition presence, Weststar reaffirmed its commitment to connecting with the people we serve while proudly representing our company values.
