Meet the team – Izzaty’s Journey: Building Bridges Beyond Borders

11th January 2024 – Meet Izzaty, a devoted technician who just traveled on a special assignment to our Namibia base. As a member of the team entrusted with reassembling our AW189 helicopter at Windhoek Hangar Westair, Izzaty’s expertise went beyond technical duties, creating strong friendships and a collaborative spirit along the road.

Hailing from our Kerteh base, Izzaty traveled to Namibia to assist with heavy maintenance duties. Little did she know that this adventure would not only put her technical talents to the test, but also provide her with amazing experiences.

Working together with the local team at Windhoek Hangar Westair, Izzaty seamlessly integrated into the project, demonstrating great technical expertise and a willingness to collaborate. Through shared knowledge and mutual respect, she helped to reassemble the AW189 helicopter successfully, showcasing the potential of cross-border teamwork.

Beyond the hangar, Izzaty immersed herself in Namibian culture, intrigued by the worldwide team’s diversity. She formed long-lasting connections and developed a greater understanding of our world’s interconnection by sharing tales and experiences and visiting Namibia’s diverse landscapes.
